I guess that players without Seasons could use it to save some special outfits, like costumes or even things like the kitchen apron, if you don't want your Sim to use it as everyday option. And probably that will be outfits that will have to be chosen manually each time. It could be even useful, it's just kinda out of nowhere.
This :) I sometimes don't know where to put situational outfits, like Geek Con Cosplay or work clothes for freelancing fishers/gardeners/carpenters. All the categories we've got now run the risk of getting used autonomously (especially with dress code mod). I just hope I won't get too used to the handy "misc" categories when I get Seasons later this year and need them for their original purpose.
