I like the way they have set up the categories because, for once, it gives us complete control.
I use the everyday category to set Spring and Autumn clothing, when it's not too hot but also not freezing. Therefore, it makes sense that they would be too hot in those clothes if it were Summer.
I also have some bare feet or socks-only outfits that they can wear indoors if I want them to look really relaxed with shoes off, especially in the Summer where I like to see them bare footed.
And for cold weather outfits, I have some set with sweaters rather than coats so they can wear a cold weather outfit indoors.
For rain, you could just have an extra outfit in everyday/cold/hot they can change into which is suitable for rain wear.
