Hotfix release?
Anyone know how long this issue will take to fix? It’s destroyed my saves and I can’t rebuild until the ageing problem is sorted

No one knows how long. Just turn aging off until it is fixed. Hot fixes normally don't take too long.
The sims game is very very complex. It's perfectly understandable why they can give an ETA. And if for some reason they cannot fix it in the promised time simmers will go crazy(Er).
It's nearly impossible for patches not to bring a few bugs and thats to be expected. They are committed to fixing them whenever they can and that's all that matters. ? it's just a game (a complex one at that) I feel like people always blow these things way out of proportion. No dev "wants" bugs. And I'm not talking about you OP, I'm just referring to the really immature way the sims community overall handles problems. I've seen a lot of very unnecessary anger over something that will be handled. ?
As humans we should learn to overcome our anger all together but if we "must" get angry I just feel like there are better thing to be angry about.?
