@Babykittyjade, I respectfully disagree. It's not unreasonable to expect a software developer to test changes to code before releasing it live. It is, in fact, a basic component of any software development lifecycle (says someone who works professionally with a software development team). It's therefore not unreasonable, after spending a sum of money on a product, for consumers to be angry when a software developer fails to perform this very basic part of their bloody job and substantially breaks the product as a result of that failure.
Significant errors in product functionality are not "to be expected" and should never go without response from a customer.
