How are you preparing for University?

I'm taking a break from the game but I will either continue with a magic legacy I started or start a new one but send the heirs to university.

I don't think I'll prepare anything. Just play as normal. See what happens depending on what household I play when the game comes out. Oh but..actually I need to see who will build robots. My aliens? I have Tony Stark in my game. I guess he can wear the robot like outfit even though he's an elder. Okay, yes, I can make plans. :)

I have a Sim I JUST made who will fulfill the role of the artsy grunge student. But I need more info on how the world and the Universities work before I fully dive in and start doing things.

I don't think I will be preparing anything. But I know that when it comes out, all my community lots are going to need bathroom remodels.

Sooo... I think I won't really prepare. I love my magical legacy family and it just so happens that Gwen's half-sister is about to age up into a YA (literally, tomorrow in-game). I think I might let her age up and freeze time til uni comes out, because I'd been wondering about what to do with her. She's Simeon's daughter, but her and Gwen's mother Melinda has died a while ago. And since then Gwen and her husband have had their own two kids, so really, it's time for her half-sister to get her own life. And a witch going to uni might just be really fun :D

Second, I will start thinking about how uni will fit into my game more generally. I have my military, of course, and so far, I picked recruits based on which sims I liked and thought fitted well enough together. I think from now on, I'll only let athletics majors (do they exist? I guess so?) move on to the military - as well as some without degrees, but those terms are as of yet unclear.

I'm also hoping there's an artsy degree, so that sims who eventually want to become writers, journalists, painters, etc. can also go to university first, if they so choose, to hone their craft and have more successful careers.

And yeah, that's all for now. It's not really 'preparing', since I'll just continue playing my save as is tbh, but I am very much looking forward to it giving us an additional thing to do between finishing high school and starting a career. :)

It depends on how to aging works in university... I think I'm just gonna take the next heir of the legacy challenge I'm currently playing (so, probably generation 6) and let them explore it. If it offers something more exciting, I might send some of the future heirs there too.

I'm not preparing. College would be an integral part of what I have in mind for my sims moving forward, so I am in something of a holding pattern until November 15th.

I have a teen in my family who'll be going to university. Between now and release I think I'll focus on her, get her grades up, work on her skills, etc.

I don't have suitable Sims to send to University on any of my saves. All my teens are too young to age up, I'm not going to age them up too early and all my young adults already have their careers and I don't want to change my plans for them.

I wish that Sims from the trailer will be added to gallery so I can play with them at first. I really liked the dark skinned girl, I'd like her to be my main Sim on my University play.

Since I'm probably sending my next legacy heir, I'm just going to play until it's time for said heir to become a YA, and if that happens before the pack comes out, I'll probably either turn off aging or play with another save while I wait to send her. She hasn't even been born yet, so I have some time. I'll probably also make a new save when the pack comes out so I can explore both universities.
