In ts2 I found them quite enjoyable even though they led to a loading screen. I was quite disappointed when ts3 came along and they had cut all the animations- no driving on and off the driveway, no opening the door and getting in and out. No seeing the car bounce a little on the suspension as your sim sat down.
I wouldn't be gutted if we never got cars in TS4 and I wouldn't be particularly excited if they announced we were getting them.
But if they do bring us cars, I hope they do some decent animations like in ts2. And we'd really need to be able to fix cars up on the driveway-and not just one type of car but many. And be able to run a car sales dealership.
Motorbikes would be cool too.
Oh, and please, no building a relationship with your car. That was just so ridiculous to see your darn car in your relationship panel with your wife and kids and mates.
