I think you get it later in the DJ skill.

DJ skill I think only go to level 5 much like the dance skill

I actually just reached level 10 on the DJ skill and that showed up on my feed. I'll change my Sim's outfit so he wears the helmet during parties, yay.

Well now i can make my sims look something like Marshmello when they go DJ
