Cut-scenes as such are good, are part of the charm of TS2. Not particularly keen on the scenarios in general. Tried a few & quickly found them not worth the effort and/or too linear/programed check list.Less keen on the Pancakes. Way back when TS4 first came out played them out of curiosity. Quickly discovered Bob is a total louse. Had a sweetie on the side, one that unwisely came to visit while Eliza was home. He even more unwisely kissed sweetie right in front of Eliza. Let's just say things got nasty quickly. Has been an ignored household ever since.

Okay, so this thread feels like clickbait to me. It has an intriguing title, which I assume is about an idea for an scenario (in reality the word cool here serves as a trigger word in combination with the word scenario as their implementation was met with mixed... let's say enthusiasm, and people may still be searching for something about these scenarios to be, you know, cool) and a poll allowing for immediate input. Without further information in the title this easily generates curiosity and for that curiosity to be satisfied you have to click through. This is a typical marketing trick and in itself not unexpected as you want to draw attention to your thread were people can read all about what you have to tell us. Except we can't. You literally state you have a 'whole plan for a scenario' and immediately go to 'what do you think?' without actually describing what this cool idea is about ...unless you click on the video... where you profit from diverting readers from this site to your youtube channel. And before you've even started on the reason why people got here in the first place we're already treated to the like+subscribe prompts youtubers who want to increase their channel's worth are so fond of. Now I get that writing is so 1985 and you may argue that nearly 5 minutes of - I wanna say blabbering but let's use another word - exposition is too much work and a video is easier, however, the way this thread is set up feels to me like you intentionally are trying to pimp your youtube channel with views rather than have a forum discussion. And I didn't like that.

I don't think id play it because scenarios and cut scenes both feel too restrictive to me and i don't really like when they meddle with premade stories after premades are already in the gamelike had they done this when they put pancakes in the game? fun.they do this now? meh. I already have my own ideas of how their story is supposed to be

And I didn't like that.I understand that the idea of public speaking may possibly be outdated to the age of Abraham Lincoln, and the idea of technology might be imposing and intimidating for some; however, I can assure you that "five minutes" of exposition on this forum would have been fleeting compared to the endeavor of making a video. It feels to me that you try to use long exposition in an attempt to make your forum writing seem impressive while depreciating other forms of communication; however, please edit your work for simple grammatical errors before doing so. See, that wasn't so hard. Imagine everyone commenting with their own video. The forum would be a mess. It's irrelevant whether I'm not actually directed to another site, the imbedded video is still linked to it. It's also irrelevant whether you make any money from it now or not. You have to start fishing for viewer traffic somewhere. And it wouldn't have been a problem for me if the original post explained the subject for this thread better with the video as an accompanying supplement where you additionally elaborate on the details - for anyone who'd still be interested in that. I simply don't like having that video as the only source of information in your thread on the subject after being clickbaited. It invoked a strong sense of being mislead which is what prompted the previous comment. Obviously, as you state, you made your video as a way of expressing yourself and having fun in relation to playing the sims, as you should. It is not my intent to dissuade you from making them. However, when you refer to "other forms of communication", which I'm accused of of depreciating, I'd like to point out that those other forms of communication also have their own and better suited other forms of media channels. Now as I've stated above, they could still work together in a hybrid form where people can enjoy reading your post and have the option to opt out of feeding youtube. As for your personal attack on my writing skills I can only say thank you for feeling impressed by it. That was not intended, but considering English isn't my native language and 90% self-taught I think I'm doing quite well. Also, if you like to nitpick on the use of punctuation on writing on the internet, you've got your work cut out for you. At least I use punctuation; but thanks for the link for some free education. I'll be looking it up on Youtube though, that site intended for videos, as I usually wait for a movie to come out rather than read the book anyway.

I think your English is fantastic.

I also agree about being too lazy to watch a video. Which is a shame, because the thread title intrigued me, but now I'll never know.

Bob and Eliza are my favourite Sims. They’re always in every save. Although so far they never reach the end.

I was disappointed when I saw this "cool" idea was with Bob and Eliza. I didn't watch the video for that reason. I really cannot stand them and deleted them in my save.
