- @DragonAge_300905 Yeah I found it in one video... you have to click a room and once the room can be modified there is an option if you want it shared or exclusive to a tenant. Thanks a lot!

I would also suggest building on a lot that doesn't have any traits except for the ones you put on the lot. Like if Maxis has a trait on the lot don't build on it until they can find and fix the bugs in the for rent negative thread.. I build and play the lots in New Crest and I'm able to put traits on the lot in each rental and not get bugs while playing. - DragonAge_300905Seasoned Rookie
Start with a residential lot, build the house with several bedrooms. Decorate the whole house and yard then change the lot to a rental residential. Assign each room and the shared areas.
