How do I do camera controls with a mouse?

I play on a laptop and up until now I've panned, zoomed and tilted the camera with keyboard shortcuts, but now almost all the buttons on my keyboard have stopped working (I type via on screen keyboard these days). So in order to keep playing the sims 4 I've just invested in a mouse and mouse matt.

I haven't used a computer mouse in years, so could someone tell me please which mouse buttons do the following camera controls in game?

- tilting up and down
- rotating left and right
- zooming in and out

(please note I use the sims 3 style camera).

    Press into the scroll wheel and move the mouse any which way to see how it rotates and tilts. Scroll to zoom in and out.
    Right-click and hold, drag slightly to pan. I feel fancy when I do that.

    Thank you. I forgot to ask, how do you rotate an object using a mouse? I think I had been using the < and > keys but that's no longer an option.

    You can click and drag in the direction you want the item to face in. Sometimes it’s finicky but it works. If your comma and period keys work you can try them!

    They don't unfortunately. It seems to be a progressive hardware error. Only about 7 keys still work now.
