How do I get MY SOUND BACK!

Did you check your settings? Maybe -no sound command disabled all your sound in settings too?

I did, all my sound options were up, it didn't turn them off. I tried changing the sound setting and changing them back and got nothing. Thank though!

You can try repairing your game. I had no sound in my game after the patch update and then got sound back when I did the repair.

I did the repair too. I had sound. Then after the update my game kept crashing. So I did the work around with the -nosound command. Now I can not get my sound back. Thanks.

Have you tried -sound on? I honestly don't know, it's probably just some specific combination of words you need to get the right command :)

Can you maybe go into TS4 folder on your computer and double click the options.ini file and see if you see something like this:

nosound=1

? If so I think by just setting that to 0 or removing the line altogether, the sound should come back. I don't have that line in my options.ini file but it might be added there.

When this happens to me, normally restarting my computer will fix it.

I don't know, but I would expect all I had to do was removing the "no sound" line from the Origin setting? I assume Origin settings overrun any local game settings. I guess you tried that and it doesn't work the way I thought. I have it turned off, too, and right now I am busy building, so I'll survive in silence for a couple more days, but I too will rather have crashes than no sound when I get back to playing. Feels meaningless not even hearing they argue or slam the fridge door, Vlad's hissing and the toddler's babbling ;)

I have Realtek as my sound provider and HP downloaded two updates for it this week and it appeared in the latest Windows 10 optional updates that you can get if you want to after Windows updates. If you have the same maybe you need a new driver for it? They were for sound and camera.

You can also update via the Device Manager by right clicking on anything and choosing update driver and Windows checks for you.
