How do I get sims to make investments?

I don't know what this came with? Is it an aspiration reward or? My super sim gets huge weekly payments from her investments and I don't know what it's from but I want my other sim in another family to make investments too haha. I just don't know what i did.

    The investments don't give your sims much money even when they work out well. But the reward trait can be huge. My sims just got $74,000 as it's based on household wealth.

    Thanks everone. I think it was the wealthy one that my Sim is getting. She just got $254,000 from it.
