I bought probably 20 units of every type of seed from both the garden box and the computer, I scoured the neighborhoods, I went into all the community buildings and the park. What am I missing? Also ...

Yes, just down the road north of the Oasis Spring starter house "Agave Abode" is a group of planters, including one tomato plant.
Good luck finding it harvestable, though. It's not been for me... yet.
