How do I set a sim's party costume?

There isn't a CAS section for that. What I've done when I want to customize is to add the costumes I want to one of the regular options, change their outfits in live play if I don't like the ones the game puts on them (I've got a change non-played Sims clothes mod), and then delete the costumes later. Which means I've not done it a lot.

Out of interest, when do sims make use if their party wear clothes?

I've had sims change into their party wear at house parties though I usually just add a costume that section and change to it.

oh no prob, I had to double check as it's been a while since I started a party without my longer party mod in you asked about the guests but I checked the hosts too.

First of course I had them meet the goths.

Only one of them is the host but they both changed anyways.

The goths showed up in their outfits, I often give them makeovers before anything weird to see those lol.

Then for the spooky party

gave them new outfits, and Bella one.

Bella changed into a different one and when Cassandra got off the steps she changed as well but you can choose premade costumes or just change them with outfits.

The moles showed up in different costumes but you can change that too.

Her first pick was the costume I put her in not sure if that happens every time though...can't play anymore though need seasons heh.

Thanks! I've never hosted a party before, and was concerned about how to guarantee guests would turn up wearing the right outfit.

not a problem at all :), glad I could help I know glitches happen but I was pretty sure it worked something like that I actually forgot about he premade party costumes ha.

They really need to add a costume clothing category or stop adding costumes in every pack.
