How do I stop Yamachan from entering my house?

I've been having a problem with Yamachan randomly entering my house uninvited (you can't invite her in anyway, there's no such option), and stealing my harvests among many things. How do I stop her fr...

Problem is that that's buggy; if you leave to another world you have to remember to do it again when you come back, because the game "forgets" inbetween.
