How do I take pictures?

I get that my sim can take pictures with their phone and probably also with a camera if I buy one, but they won't be in the picture. I preferably want some kind of photo album like they had in the Sims 2. I could write my own stories, and so if I had to take a longer break, (wich happens often), I could just check out the photo album and remember where I was.

Is there a feature like that in the sims 4 now, and if yes where it is?
