How do I write song?

My sim has music aspiration and it says "Write 4 songs" but when I click on an instrument there is no option to write a song, I am high level in piano and guitar so I am confused, please help :D

    Piano and guitar.

    I've made sure they are on the floor and not in my inventory but still only write lyrics. Does the fact I have one guitar song licensed make a difference? Have two lots of lyrics licensed too and still getting write lyrics option
