They have said that, like in TS3, laundry is lot specific. That means that if you don't put a washer/drier/clothesline or a hamper on the lot, then you won't have "laundry". If you played it with TS3 then you already know how that works. So if you don't put hampers in the gym to collect the sweaty workout clothes, then you don't have to worry about the sweaty workout clothes. You can play rotational play and only have one of 5 houses with laundry while the others go about their lives not realizing how amazing clean clothes can be!
I have said in many threads that I hated the idea of laundry when I first saw it mentioned back in TS2 and when it started showing up in TS3 boards. I admit I loved it once we got it! I've very much missed having it in my game and I'm thrilled that it's finally (almost) here!
