How do Toddlers meet other toddlers?

@matthewrodney The part that has worked so far for me to at least get Toddlers on the same lot as each other, is to have one family visit another family. Then have the parents introduce themselves to each other. Once the parents can interact, they can talk to Toddlers that are not their own and Toddlers can ask other parents to help with their needs. If the parents know Toddlers, they can throw a play date another lot.

Thanks @GoddessSims! I'm working on communications today. It's a little weird because the Toddlers will play dolls together and the green bar under relationships grows, yet they identify as strangers.

@SmilinSims yes, and the Toddler will still identify as strangers.

What is their relationship level? I haven't experimented much with toddlers interacting with other toddlers outside their family, but it sounds like the interaction is there simply because they haven't built up enough relationship with the other toddlers.

I wish there was a mod to let sims bring their toddlers to the park with them it would make it a lot easier.. or ea would fix it..

You could always edit one of the parks with toddler toys and see if that will allow the parents to bring their tots. Though I'm hoping maxis will change it so Parent sims can bring their tots to the lots too other than just manually bringing them.

I edited the willow creek park but still no toddlers.. EA or a modder will need to fix this. :(
I started editing the parks right after we got the toddler stuff pack.

I agree. Though if you wanted to you could force it with teleport sim anywhere like @GoddessSims did if you use mods or if you don't you could go to the house hold to have your sims meet the toddlers there so you wouldn't have to play with them and then schedule a play date at the park.

I do use mods and looked up the mod that @GoddessSims was referring to and its pretty old unless there's another one.. I would use it as its too time consuming trying to find sims at home with toddlers.. I have tried that lol

It's not working for me.. the statue shows up but when I try to click on it it has a circle with a line through it.. :(
