I am sorry if I am asking this question in the wrong place. I've tried to find the answer on my own..... Sims 4....City Living....I am seeing speed builds on youtube where people are building penthouses....how can I do this? Where do I go to start? I've gone into manage worlds, but when I click on an apartment building, it doesn't give me the option to build a penthouse, it only shows what apartments are available. WHAT buildings can they be built on, and how do I do I get started?

    Thanks,
    Tonya S

    Hello
There are two penthouse locations in City Living.
    The two are
Fountainview Penthouse in the Arts district
1 Torendi Tower Penthouse in the Fashion district

  • How do I install origin onto windows 10? When I tried, I got an error "20:2". I even tried to install it while my laptop was in safe mode (that's what I've read elsewhere), and it still didn't work.

I've got an Acer Aspire a515-51-563w, if that makes any difference.

Is this the first time you're installing Origin on that same computer or have you installed it before and uninstalled it?

If this isn't your first time installing it, make sure that you've already uninstalled every bit of Origin. Look under the Origin folders in your Program folders to make sure there's nothing left. The cache should not be there too.

    https://help.ea.com/en-sg/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/

If this is your first time installing it, turn off all your firewalls and Internet security programs as they might be clashing with Origin.

If those still didn't work, try using the old version of Origin here: https://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe

It will update itself after that.

    Good luck!
  • When I go into the mode when you press tab and then get out of it the bar at the bottom that shows your sims, their mood, and all that other stuff won't show up and I can't click on anything or go to the menu or gallery.

Pressing Tab takes you into camera mode. Just press tab again and it'll come out of camera mode and you'll see the UI once again.
  • Hi, I don't know if anyone would be able to help me. I've kind of become addicted to the Sims 2 over Lockdown and I was wondering if anyone knew if anyone has created a downloadable version of Pleasantview that is set in the past, with like some of the families younger and stuff like that? I know It sounds ridiculous but I wanted to hold off making my own if one already existed. If anyone can help me that would be great thanks!
  • Yes, @Mr_Lafu_1, if you have "accidental deaths" enabled for a household in Neighborhood Stories, they permanently die and if you aren't using mods, there aren't tombstones for sims who die away from the active lot.

Turn the accidental deaths off for any households where you don't want this to happen. I've not seen any options turn themselves on in my game once I set them all the way I wanted, so if you go through and make sure it really is off you should be fine.

If you've customized the settings for any individual households you need to check all of them (and there's a filter so you can filter just by those with custom settings), because the button at the very top doesn't apply settings when you change things there for any households that have been customized.

Also make sure you are setting it in both "My Households" and "Other Houeholds" at the top. The two do not share settings.
  • @Mr_Lafu_1, If i remember correctly it enabled itself by default for "Other Households" when the patch added it. Change the settings there to what you want and they should stay that way...at least until the next game update that tweaks the feature.
