- Cmehnt10 years agoSeasoned AceThere's a board in the room above the police chief's office where all the computers are. Click on it to start a case map.

I'd have better pictures but my detective died :s - Sketch79310 years agoSeasoned AceOnce the case map is started, click on the map to add clues. You can add clues every time you analyze evidence, cross reference database, etc.
- The only option on my board is to go on patrol?? Nothing for build a case map. ?
- Sketch7935 years agoSeasoned AceWhat job level is your Sim? You probably just haven't reached the level where you can build cases yet.

Have you visited a scene of crime yet? - GalacticGal5 years agoLegendAll good advice. Take your Sim on patrol. Remember your Sim is a Rookie. Eventually, they'll be assigned to a case with a more experienced officer. Your job will likely be to photograph and collect evidence. Sometimes you'll even get to dust for fingerprints. This is all part of training. When the Chief deems your Sim is ready, you'll get the work task to find an assignment. Then you get to take your Sim on their very own case. Once you've visited the crime scene and collected the evidence, when you bring your Sim back to the station, analyze and log the evidence, then you should be able to click on the board at the back of the computer room.
