So, do you play rotational or are they different save games?
Rotational , but no strict rotations. In ts2 I had 1 day rotations. Now it mostly depends on who I want to play. All households focus on different gameplay, besides of regular familyplay.
So if I want to play farm stuff I go to families in Henford, if crafting and eco things I go to Evergreen, if horses I go to Chestnut family..
Retail, Active careers, pack based activities.. like one of my sims who lives in Enamorada focuses on jewelry making, one in Chestnut raise rescued horses, one focuses mostly on nectar making...
I have a grouphousehold in DSV with one adult and few teens (I pretend the teens rent a room) who want to be actors or singers or famous in general 🙂 I aged down Judith and Brytani to teens, Vanessa to child, resetted their fame to zero, and later son of Henford mayor, Rahul joined them.
Somehow all of my sims over the worlds are connected to Henford where the save started from. Might be a very small and distant connection, but it is there. Sounds complicated 😃
Sounds great. Sorry for yet another question, but does it not bother you if they don't all age in line with each other from playing different lengths? Or do you age them manually? I like the idea of not rotating to a timetable, sometimes my game feels too restrictive with self-imposed rules. Just trying to get ideas as I have hit the restart button yet again lol.
I have aging long, but ON to all for first week of every season. (4 week season)
So all age , active household and unplayed, but VERY slowly. (I do not use modded aging as it is one of things I prefer vanilla to avoid any possible aging mess)
Sure I may miss a birthday or two if some other household has someone aging up when I play another, but Im not so in love with setting up parties (lol my sims marry eloping at bathrooms) , so it is totally fine to me 😃
I gave up aging sims manually as im not in the mood to keep in track when and where I should do it so it makes sense. And it has to make sense in my head 😁 It just has to. Similar way all the houses has to match to world surroundings, its a must what I refuse to give up even once 😃
Background sims has to age at same speed too, I had enough in ts2 that my sim had same townie friends at school what their great-grandma had 😆
