How do you feel about Servos in TS4?

I never played servos in any of the iterations. I don't imagine I will start now either.

I don't know. Guess I just felt I didn't need them. Bonehilda was enough. And sometimes even she was too much and had to be sent away.

I think they're awesome. My servo came with a host of negative traits and a poor reputation, which was kind of awesome given that he's this metal man that came into the world fully formed and yet having no idea what human (simmian?) interaction was all about. So everybody who met him kind of hated him. Eventually he was given a program overhaul, but still had that negative reputation for a very long time -- I'm talking two generations and counting.

He served as a butler for my genius doctor sim, and it was glorious having people over and being unsettled by this shiny, clanky thing calling them to eat. I always imagined it like --

My Sim: "Yes, and on Thursday I gave a guest lecture at Foxbury."

Guest: "They're awfully terse there. One time I was just passing campus and there were four students who ..."

Servo: "DINNER IS SERVED. REPORT IMMEDIATELY TO THE DINING ROOM TABLE."

Guest: "Ahem, and the students were tryi....."

Servo: "ATTENTION HUMAN. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO REPORT FOR DINNER AT THIS TIME."

Guest: If I may just finish my sen....."

Servo: "YOU WILL REPORT TO DINNER IMMEDIATELY OR YOU WILL BE REMOVED."

I look forward to playing as them in Sims 4. I loved having them in Sims 2 but I would mod them to make them look more android and less crazy built it out of a garage robot look.

I think the servos look awesome this time around though :)

I haven't made one yet, but I want to. I've got a mechanical engineer leveling up for this. When they are off are they moveable objects? Can you sell them? I want to make a Robot store and sell them like I did in Sims 2. Not sure if I can though.

The Robotics stuff is too tedious and annoying to even bother making them, so I always just steal some from the robotics competitions and set them free in Oasis Springs. They're okay, but could have been done way better. They're not as cute or charming as Sims 2 Servos, they're not as creative, fun and customizable as Plumbots.

I haven't played servos yet but I'm really looking forward to! I liked them in TS2 and think they look great this time around.

I haven't tried them yet, I got bored of trying to build one, it takes so much time. They look like fun, though. Maybe some day I will have enough patience.

Every couple of days, a servo townie would visit my bakery and break down. I found it annoying, especially when I'd close for the day, and a broken robot would just sit there in the middle of the shop floor, smoking.

That's about the extent of my experience with servos - they show up where I am, only to break down and flail helplessly.
