How do you keep your town from turning into a jumbled mess?

Hi @LaBlue0314 , you might try tweaking your Neighborhood Stories settings so that they are more to your liking.

For me, it really doesn't matter what size family lives in what size house, unless it is a family that my played sims will be visiting for long or overnight visits. But it does matter to me that the Goths stay in the Goth house, etc, so I turn off Move Out for those families.
