How do you make peace with the randomly generated sims?

I have a couple mods like Ellupelluellu​ to control it. But a lot of it was taking townies into CAS and giving them makeovers and turning them into my townies. I only have two long running saves so it’s easier to modify them now since I don’t get as many as I used to.
