How do you make your big houses playable?
I've asked in the past about what to void of build elements to limit lag on larger lots, so that's not what I'm asking now. I just would like to know how big mansions/castles you actually play without...

@Lenny_Ogg - love that build! It looks so real.
@EnkiSchmidt - sounds like a good plan, splitting the farm. My royal palace has both private sections (where the royal family lives) and public sections (like throne room, offices and formal dining rooms and galleries etc meant for representation. I regret I did put all this into the same build, I should have made the estate smaller, only for residential purpose, and rather build the public stuff on a community lot. I'm not splitting the building but adding a copy in a save that I will only use for playing some public occasions for my story telling. In that extra save I've deleted all interior from their private sections. I can send the household there, but what happens in that save will not be remembered as the sims will just be copies. I don't feel like deleting all public content from the estate in my main save though, so I guess I shall start planning for moving the public services to a community lot...
