yes, it does still function, the sim is brought to CAS & then you have to fiddle a little with the settings there, you don't need to change anything, but eg scroll through all the clothing of the sim & through his traits
it doesn't work every time but it does work usually, the game switches then the households
it is probably a bug, but usefull if you wish to swap households
it 's even possible to controll sims who don't dwell in a house but are just homeless unplayed residents of the neighborhood
I actually tried to modify a townie while we were at the bar, I changed her from a young adult to a teen then it would let me go back cause there had to be an adult in the household so I added a parent and moved the in with another family so it sent me to the new household
