How does Romantic Relationship Preference get made?

I wanna know how it's formed in this game. Is whoever they flirt with or is if whoever they woohoo first? I wanted make a gay slutty man, yet he might be straight cause I had him sleep with a femal...

So having my intended slutty male sim to have flirted, and woohooed a female, means that he is straight then. :neutral: Great I did mess up with him. I'll need to get rid of him and start over. Thanks for the comment :smiley:
