How Does the Quirk Be Gone Reward Work?

Question

I very much want to remove a particular quirk from my Sim. I recall seeing an aspiration reward called "Quirk Be Gone" or words rather close to this. I read what it does, and a quirk of my choosing can be removed. So, I expended the 250 credit points he had, but on the page where his quirks, and perks are listed, I see you way to remove the undesired Quirk.

What am I missing? Please help. Thank you, in advance.

Interestingly, there's a bug around these Quirk-B-Gone Potions at the moment.

The bug is, the quirk is removed immediately upon selecting it from the menu that comes up when you select to drink the potion.
Immediately.
So you can, say...
Put the potion across the room from your Sim, select the potion and choose to drink it, choose the quirk from the list, and it'll be removed.
Then, just cancel your Sim's queued action to actually walk across the room and drink the potion.
End result: Quirk removed, and potion is still available to use for the future.

Did you drink the potion after he got it? Because I think you have to drink it first and then you'll get a pop up.

I didn't find one, but I'll do a more thorough check. He's got potions from being a celebrity. I could have overlooked it. Thanks!UPDATE: Found it! It was in his inventory. LOL Many thanks!
