Hi simmers <3My friend asked me to please build her a house in Moonwood Mill but she wants the teen's bedroom to have one of those sneak out windows. I build the lot and I always playtest my lots before uploading them and the teen never wanted to use the window to get out, even when I placed a bench and microscope outside her window, I would have her stand right at the window and direct her to it and she would just walk all the way down to the first floor, out the door and then climb up the lattice to go the microscope or bench. There is only a lock for option on the window if I click on it. I had my sim lock the door and clicked out and they would exit via the window. I didn’t have a notification to go out for the night

idk I find sims can sometimes be tad dumb about the routing stufffor example my goths keep choosing to use ladder that goes from first floor to third floor outside just to then use another ladder to go to second floor when they get insideall meanwhile theres perfectly good staircase from 1st floor to second floor right in front of their nose and nothing is blocking them from using it :sweat_smile: guess they just like to live dangerouslycould have almost sworn though that you could click the window to use it

Hahaha your Goths do not trust stair cases. I also thought you could click on the window, but unless you get the invite you can't, the only option is to lock it like you can doors ;)

When I put up one of those trellis ladders on the outside of the Prescott house in Copperdale so Molly could sneak out, the rest of the family started using it to move between the ground and first floors instead of taking the perfectly serviceable indoor stairs. While it was a bit amusing to watch Mei and Tai shinning up and down it, I ended up taking it down and haven't bothered using it anywhere else again since. I suppose then that like the window it needs to be used with some door locking strategy.

I love having them slide down that ridiculously long ladder as if it isn't about same as jumping off a building :lol: they also have more ladder from the attic down the chimney all the way to the spooky basement where urns and cornelias magic stuff is

Yeah I think a lot of us might have thought it would be an option on the window all the time, but apparently its only an option on the window when you get an invite to sneak out, and even then they recommend you lock the door. That is how we learn things I guess, I never used it so did not know until now ;)
