How does your sim get the option to show off knitted sweater?

I have a knitted sweater in her inventory. She taught Knotts to knit the day before and she is acquaintances with him. I can't find the option in the talk options also I checked under friendly options and can't find it there. How do you get the option to show off knitted sweater?

It's possible that your Sim needs to be wearing the sweater.

To show off a knitted outfit, your sim must wear it first. So, add to the wardrobe, plan outfits, then make another outfit in some category (one category can have up to 5 outfits, click on the arrow above the outfit category icon), and add the sweater there.
