Thanks for sharing! I envy your dedication to Erik's fab career. It sounds like a lot of fun.
I never thought of arranging an Award show myself. I normally miss the thing because of my rotation, and I recently noticed that most of my artists hardly got any trophy at all. I might do that, set up a show to change this. So far I made some of them have Meet & Greets just top collect trophies :) I guess I should cheat by grabbing a few from the debug catalog, especially for the global stars who obviously got a few awards in the past.
I wanted to create actual award shows but without a mod to provide the mechanics of a Sim picking up, or even being handed the awards (I imagined having a playable Host, as it were that would hand the recipient a gift box), it just seemed easier to use the existing Starlight Accolades show. That's why I set it up as the very first Sunday of each season to represent the special categories.
It only became a problem when I went to a 14-day season. Whoops, I was so into my gameplay, I totally forgot to note which Sunday of the month it was when Erik received the award. 🤨 😐 😑 😶 😏 😒 🙄 😬 This is another one of those times it is just so hard being me. LOL
