If you're not interested in the rewards, you can turn off the goals and just go with a regular party. That can be just as fun.
I'm with Brindleton -- you create the event, choose the activities (give gifts, eat, etc.). Instead of a trailer, there might be a blog about it; it's the kind of activity that doesn't lend itself well to a visual but more of an explanatory feature.
