this is the first time a pack was designed mainly for build/buy as opposed to live mode which I think is very interesting.
Game Pack, maybe. But we've had a few packs and kits that focus on B/B. The game has almost always put a sizeable focus on including B/B. (Though not so much on design tools RIP)
- Courtyard Oasis
- Country Kitchen
- Tiny Living was largely built around furniture
- Kids Room Stuff
- Perfect Patio
- Cool Kitchen
- Romantic Garden
- Backyard (Though a few items can be used in live mode)
- While not the only thing the pack has to offer, Eco Lifestyle's green/smog system was based almost entirely around items you buy, rather than the actions of your sim
- Every pack but Throwback Fitness at least dedicated a large portion of its content to items
That said, I'm glad it has an audience and I know a lot of people can get a lot of use from it.
