How is your engagement since Quarterly Teasers have stopped?

I agree. I would love to have the teasers back.

I feel so bored with my game now.. I miss having teasers because there was always something to look forward to and be excited about. We keep hearing about "new features" but nothing solid yet. The last new content we had (besides the Caribbean content) was for the gallery and, IMO, it totally ruined the gallery. Its so clunky, hard to navigate, and still has broken features. The Sim Gurus were starting to get really good at communicating with us and now there hasn't been much discussion about anything...

I would also agree with this. Although the Gurus are gonna be way more active on Twitch, which I know quite a few people haven't been excited about.

I am less engaged. This is the first time in months that I logged in on The Sims forums.

Didn't answer because my engagement is the same. Honestly marketing doesn't affect that much my engagement with the game. New content does.

No real change for me either for my engagement in the game. I didn't like where the teaser would put me ... speculating in the wrong direction or hoping/knowing something was coming that wasn't. That happened for me both with the MFP teaser and the Seasons teaser. I am enjoying the live streams at this point though. I wouldn't say they are making me more engaged in the game anymore than the teasers though.. but to me they are more positive and make me feel better about the community ... mostly because they aren't setting possible fires. Sometimes tidbits... or we are aware, listening messages come though and I like learning about them (the Gurus) and possibly learning new things about the game I play. I learned two yesterday.

Well, the good thing about moving all the bug problems over to the EA site is the fact no one will be derailing a thread to say there is a mod for that. :D

In my opinion, something is better than nothing so they were not worthless to me.

Never watched a single teaser. So no change what so ever that would have anything to do with teasers.

It doesn't bother me that we don't have the teasers. Less disruption in the community when they're not getting upset over hyperactive imaginations that aren't realistically going to be in the game.

Take the recent update with the fan, sliding doors, and tropical deco. Now people think a tropical pack is coming, when we have no reason to think that's actually the case. So when the next pack comes out, and it's inevitably NOT tropical in nature, there's going to be a round of 'devs are doing it wrong/misleading us' blah blah all over again.

The closer the release of a pack is to the announcement of it a few days, maybe a week before, the better. The longer that distance is, the worse it gets around here, unfortunately.
