- simsimsere6 years agoSeasoned Ace28 Days feels about right for me. I don't like the holidays coming too frequently, if there was even a longer option, I would probably pick it. I play rotationally (no schedule) and it can be nice for example to stay with one family for the summer to make the most of it. I usually make sure I don't play the same family for two same seasons in a row, but other than that anything is a fair game as I consider the time passing in the world even when I'm playing other households.
- Short, just because I don't play long-term family gameplay and I find spring and autumn really dull and don't want to be stuck in them for ages. I'd love to have an option like in the sims 3 to alter the length of each season instead of them all being the same length I'd rather have autumn/spring last like 4 days each and summer/winter last for 10 days each
- akaniki6 years agoRising AceYou need an "other" catagory. My winter and fall are 7 days and my spring and summer are 14 days.
- Sara1010p6 years agoSeasoned Ace28 Days is to long, 14 is not enough. I use a mod to make them 21 days.
- therealtacomama6 years agoRising Veteran7 days but I'm a legacy player on short lifespan. I want my years in and out.

Thank you so much to everyone who is replying! I love the Seasons pack and it’s cool to see how others are playing. Using the calendar to make a winter and summer break is an amazing idea I never thought of, I’m going to try that too. I’m thinking of 14 days and more holidays, or 28 days with weeks off.
Which holidays do you have for your seasons?
I’ve got for Spring: Easter, Valentine’s Day, Earth Day
Summer: Summerfest, 1 week Summer Break
Autumn: Spooky Day, Harvestfest, Remembrance Day
Winter: Winter Fest, New Year’s Eve, 1 week Winter Break
I never thought of using the calendar to create a summer and winter break either! I need to do that. Add 2 weeks to summer and 1 week in winter. Right now I have pretty standard holidays.
Egg Day and Love Day in spring.
 Fireworks day in summer.
Spooky Day and Harvestfest in fall.
First Day of winter (where they do a polar bear dip), Winterfest, and New Years in the winter.
I would love to add St. Patricks Day. My daughter was born that day, so even though we don't ever celebrate the holiday in real life, it holds a special place in my heart. But there aren't any decorations that seem right.
- I play according to the seasons in real life so I guess I play longer then 28 days. Some how I can’t get into the Season unless I am actually In it in real life.

Ooh St Patrick Day, I love that holiday, I didn't think of that one either. I'll add it in the game and dress them all in green.
- nikkiheathcote956 years agoSeasoned AceI have the aging off on unplayed sims, on my households they only age when their active :-), what I think would be good for the devs to add is your can customize how long your sims are in each life stage, for example baby set as short, toddler, child, teen and young adult ( normal), adult (long) elder (normal)
- Sarabeth6701d6 years agoSeasoned AceI play rotationally so I need as much time as possible with each family. Besides I have a lot of gardeners so having the extra weeks comes in handy
