But you don't need to do that. My sim never did, and she was still able to solve everything just fine. It just adds another way to gather evidence, so it shouldn't affect how long it takes you to solve the mystery. "LaBlue0314;c-16977189" wrote:
Depends on the sim, if they have certain skills already under their belt, it won't take them as long as a new sim without any skills. I don't know how long it took my sim to complete this. I ended up switching sims because my first sim got really sick, and nothing was helping her, and she couldn't venture too far away from her toilet.
My sim was fully maxed in all skills so I'm quite eager to play through again with a new unskilled sim. Will be starting that today.- I bet it's faster with sim who has vampiric run and sunlight immunity.
- I'm not really sure how many sim days at this point. I got instantly bored of the grind and tried to cheat my way through the story, only to find out... wow, I actually have to have x amount of these things in order to create that thing, and I can't just right click the task and instantly complete it.
So, because I have the attention span of a gnat, it'll take a while. I bought the pack on release and I'm only on like the second phase, lol.
Luckily, I found some rooms on the gallery filled with things I have to collect, so I might just finish it today. - I am taking my time, I always go thru the new stuff and become bored with the game, this time I am taking my time and enjoying it longer I hope.....lol

- rpk3332367 years agoSeasoned AceI little over three weeks. The sims I used were fresh young adults just starting in their careers and I didnt use any cheats. I wasn't rushing, but other than working on jobs/skills/pets they were pretty much working their way through the story.
- in game took me 3 sims days and about 4 real life hours to complete
- Hermitgirl7 years agoSeasoned AceStill haven't finished it.. I could have but just playing out the story and enjoying the ride, making plans and enjoying the environment. I'm pretty sure it's been a few sim weeks. Not worried about boredom I have multiple storylines started or waiting. Playing in rotation also.
