I can't say for sure, it's not long, but it still irritates the snot out me
I played Second Life for about 9 years and to "teleport" to any other region besides the one you were in, you would hit a loading screen, that didn't irritate me like TS4 because the differences was you could freely walk, move around, and interact with the entire world that your avatar was on. Only hit a loading screen when moving to a new world.
So yeah, having to sit through a loading screen (even if it's only for 10-30 seconds) to go visit the bar, restaurant, or my neighbor's house that is literally 5 tiles away from my sim's house is 100% percent immersion breaking! (and before someone corrects me, I'm talking about actually being able to interact at those venues or with the sim who lives there, I don't mean just freely walking to stand in front of the building).
