How long do your loading screens usually take?

Just wondering what people's experience is. I notice some people find loading screens very intrusive and others don't care at all.

This is about the loading screen to travel to another lot or enter a household from Manage Worlds, not the loading screen to boot up the game.

Feel free to post details about your computer, whether you use mods or cc, whether you have different results on a long-running save vs a new save.

  • I only play vanilla on my PC Desktop & I have all up to date packs with most of the Kits.
  • I'm not sure, I've never timed it. It seems to be fairly fast though with my three year old rotational save.

It used to take 10 minutes until I got a better computer.
  • I don't have a lot of custom content in my game. What I do have is Maxis Match clothing and hairstyles for male Sims. I do have quite a few mods though that deal with things Maxis hasn't fixed.
  • I use a lot of mods, so sometimes the loading screen will take a bit longer than it should. But it's definitely quicker than TS3 ever loaded. lol
  • I'm not 100% sure because I never have timed the loading screen but considering that my mods/cc folder is 14.9 Gb is probably at least over 2 minutes.
