How long does it take to get a blind date opportunity?

I get them frequently in both of my saves. One is a celeb and the other just has a pristine rep. I found it's usually random game generated townies your sim has an acquintance with...one was from a barista my sims was friends with, then a bartender, and I think a random horribly dressed sim she met on karaoke night.

Oh, my Global Superstar makes friends with just about everyone he introduces himself to. It's almost automatic. Suffice it to say he knows many, many Sims.

Well I do agree Morgan is a hottie.

Your need to setup your preferred orientation for the sims male or female by flirting with a few female or male sims depending on your preference, which I remember the sim guro say it is needed to spawn a blind date.

My one-star celebrity with a great reputation just got a call from a friend asking to share her number with someone who wanted to date her. I thought I clicked ok, but it's been two in-game days with no blind date. I ended up going ahead with my original plan, which was to orchestrate a meeting between her and the guy I intended to be her second boyfriend.
ETA: She did get a call not long after from someone wanting to be friends, but he's married. Not sure if that was related to the blind date offer or just her first "fan'.

That would explain it. He's got the Public Number Quirk, so I had him rejecting those types of phone calls. Then someone here said it was an opportunity for blind dates. At that time, two of the five female Sims I created as possibilities for him that he'd met hadn't worked out, so I started having him say 'yes' to letting the number be given. Still, nothing. :open_mouth: Of course, that might be a good thing, since he's now married … but it would have been fun, I think.
