How many babies?

I'm torn between 1-2 and 3-9, because it really depends on the household and the Sims. I've stated plenty of times around here that I play rotationally and have dozens of households. I have Sims who have only had one child all of their lives and others who have huge families.

I do have one family that has over 10, but it isn't often that I do that, and that was more as the result of two families, parents divorced with kids, marrying and having their own kids together.
