How many babies does your Sim have and why?
My founding sims had four kids. All are married and there are a total of seven kids in the current generation. I actually have a family tree in progress and the good thing about the sims I don't play is I can use the newborn pics of previous births that I'd witnessed as placeholders until the kids become toddlers. - I have a few households that will have maybe 1 or 2 kids, but typically, my sims always have large families.
- OneAdorkableGirl6 years agoNew AceI'm a family player that enjoys big families.. :) I chose 3-9 because it really depends on what save I'm playing. If I'm playing a challenge like the 100 Baby challenge, then it will be more than 9 because of the goal of trying to have as many kids as you can in as few generations as possible.
However, if I'm playing a legacy-styled save, then I'll try for around 3+ kids because I like to give them personality and add hobbies that they may like (I like to use the skills that will make them money instead of getting them jobs, so maybe they're into gardening, or flower arranging, or something like that); and then I'll decide which one I'm having fun playing and choose that one as the heir to move onto the next generation. And I'll just have somewhere around 3-5+ kids for the next generation and so on and so forth.
Another reason I might have more than 1 or 2 babies is because I'd like to have a few supernaturals in the family. So, I may marry a vampire, alien, etc and then have kids and then the next heir could also maybe have a mermaid, or witch join the family.
Would love to see more content for babies-teens though. They could use more content. :x - I planned to stop at two for my current household, but then the dad got abducted by aliens and gave birth to alien TWINS!
- I usually have 2 babies because then they can hang out together. As they start to grow, I may have the couple plan another 1 or 2 babies.

- ChadSims26 years agoSeasoned RookieSadly 0 babies I refuse to play with the bassinet only had 1 baby born in game and he was aged up quickly. Picking up the baby quick interaction put down ignore until needs get low is not the game play I'm looking for with babies so I just don't.
Now with children total I usually end up with 4-5 and start a Sims life as a toddler creating them from both parents in CAS. - Admiral8Q6 years agoSeasoned AceI think Don Lothario is up to about 30-40 "babies" in my game. I'll check and take a screenshot.
Generally though, 1 to 4 in a household since the max people is 8. Otherwise having more could be fun. - I usually mean to have 1-2 so that I can concentrate on the fully, but I also have mods and risky woohoo, so there are multiple oportunities in my game for my sims to have random pregnancies, so it's sometimes a bit of a surprise. In my last gen my sims were only planned to have 1, because my male sim was nearly an elder and they only had a tiny beach house. But then they got randomly pregnant - and it turned out to be twins! Totally threw my plan out of the water. And then they got pregnant again with another single baby, so my intended 1 baby household, turned into a 4 baby household!! It was chaos.
So, I plan for less, but the sim fates decide in the end ;)
