How many generations has your family gone through?
(Very sorry if I haven’t done this right; it’s my first time creating a discussion) Since I usually play with the long lifespan, I’ve had my main household going for 7 generations! How about you?

It's really personal preference! Like I mentioned earlier, this has always been how I play. Other people don't and enjoy creating sims and starting fresh with them.
As far as multiple households, I have always, until the past few weeks, played one household only. Each generation I would pick an heir or heiress, and move the spares out forever. Only recently I wanted to play through two scenarios, so I play my "official" house for 7 sim days, and then my other house for 7 sim days, and so on. I turned aging off for everyone except the active house so neither will age while i'm playing the other, and I don't lose any time :)
