How many generations?
So I'm wondering, at the highest, how many generations have you ever had in a single family ? The kids (which now consist of two teenagers and one YA) in my current family are generation number 19. Thats the highest I have ever come. Been playing with the same family since November 2014!
The mother of the family (gen 18) is a doctor who wanted nothing more then to find the perfect husband and have a litte baby girl. She found herself a quite handsome fella who charmed her to bits. They moved in together after a little while. He is a worcaholic who hates children, and only cares about making money so that they can have a nice house together. After a lot of fighting he finally agreed to try and have a baby. He wants his girlfriend to be happy ofcourse. She really wanted a baby girl, but ended up with a boy (Odin). Altough she was very pleased with her son, she still craved a little girl she could dress up in pink and play horses with. The father of the family had grown to love his son (as long as he didnt have to deal with diapes and such). They got married while Odin was still a child. He had promised to do whatever he can to make his wife happy. And what she wanted most was a little girl. So they tried for another baby, but if this one was also a boy, then that was it. No more chances. She had a feeling it would be a girl this time. Suprisingly she gave birth to twins! Both of them boys! (Thor and Loke) She didnt care. She instantly fell in love with both of them. The father on the other hand, was not exactly thrilled to have not one but TWO screaming, smelly babies while all he wanted to do was work on his promotion in peace.
Odin is now a young adult and loves to cook. He used to do this only as a hobby. He is very attached to his parents, and dont ever want to move out of their home. His father told him that if he wants to live with them, then he better go out and find a job, so that he could contribute to the family. And so he became a chef. And loves it!.
Thor and Loke are teenagers. They grew up to hate each other. Constantly fighting. To make matters worse, they also share a room together..
So yeah, thats my current situation of gen. 19!. Later when the twins grow up, i plan to move them out together to live as roommates. That could be interesting given that they are enemies and have the exact opposite personality.. Haha!
