- LoriTSpNew SpectatorI generally have no more than two kids; if I'm lucky with what the gene pool has given me, than I stick with the one child and try to master all their skills before they age up to teen.
- paigeisin5New SpectatorI used to let nature take its course but with Seasons and the extra activities, I am limiting my offspring to two babies per household. With Seasons and Parenthood, it takes a lot more effort to raise kids. And I use the in-game cheats for one boy and one girl per household. I know, I'm a micromanager. Guilty as charged. I like to keep my worlds balanced so there is less effort in finding suitable spouses.

Most of them are accidents. My sims make poor life choices.
That is tooo funny
Do you always fall for it when their whim says "try for a baby with so and so"? - ariannanealNew Spectator

I voted 2.
Honestly, I think that most of the time, one is enough. I normally love kids and toddlers (esp. toddlers) but the toddler interacts are so darn buggy that I end up bellowing in anger and frustration at the screen.
I agree, the toddlers are unbearably buggy
I won't even have a high chair anymore, the parents are constantly overriding each other's actions and the kid sits in the high chair for 40 minutes while they step in front of each other and then back off
Ugg - I like to have two. It makes sim life easy. Sometimes I like to have over 4 kids, but not that much anymore. Sim kids are a big pain sometimes to me.
- one because anymore than that is a full time job for both parents if you want to raise you kids right... nanny is cool but she doesn't help very much honestly I find her getting in my way more often than not.
- keekee53Seasoned NewcomerI would love more but space is limited in this game. I need to save room for random twins and triplets UGH
- anthonydyerSeasoned Traveler2 is my magic number. I find 2 balanced and it does not become too much to handle.
- Why no option for 0...can't stand kids xd

I think I asked this some months ago just this time with a poll :)
One or two, depending on the aspiration and number of sims already in the house.
