How many marriages?

My sims usually don't marry. I think one sim is enough to handle, however I do have my sim reproduce now and then, and let the kid live with the other parent. I'm just too darn busy getting rich. xD

One marriage. I have my sims play the field while they're single, but then they settle down when they're sure they have the right person. In terms of Sims 4, I've only had one sim get married a second time; his first wife died, and he ended up marrying his childhood friend.

EDIT: Wait, I just remembered another sim. He and his first wife divorced, and he was engaged to another sim. She died before marriage though, so I don't know if it counts?

Why'd your sims get divorced, if I can ask?

I've only ever had one couple get divorced. All my others have stayed together for life

My sims don't get married often, usually because I don't play families much - I prefer single sim households.
But, for story purposes anything is possible, but I obviously have everything planned out before even starting the save. I'm kind of a control freak, which explains my preference for single sim households.

My sims are together for life. I can't bring myself to cause drama and split them up. :D

I create my sims already married and I never divorce them.

I'd have answered 1 or 2 if that were an option. I do have in-game divorces, but fewer than the real world does.

Usually just one...my Sims tend to have big families and if I cross lines and have kids with different people in one family, the dating pool for the next generation gets smaller since more are related.

I mostly play monogamous couples with children but they almost never marry because the chaotic wedding parties annoy me.
