How many played sims do you have in your game?

I have one save and my total sim count is 232 consisting of 77 households across all worlds. (Yes I have a lot of empty lots and some worlds are completely empty, save for community venues.)

I have 4 played households totaling 10 sims.

9 households are relatives that I don't actively play but visit and interact with frequently.

19 households are friends that my playable sims visit and interact with occasionally. These are households I've downloaded from the Gallery.  Mostly families from previous versions of the Sims.

45 households are Maxis families that came with new packs. Prior to Cottage Living I routinely deleted all new NPCs that weren't special characters.

Did not check in a while, but I assume 750.

I have all residential worlds bar the fairy world, and play them all on rotation in my 10 years old save. Some houses I just stop by for a few hrs every 3rd year, so not all of those sims get my full attention. With so many worlds I've started to ponder about implementing restriction to my game, like a max number of residential lots (or units) per hood. Not there quite yet, though, but I really should try reducing the amount of sims...

I will try to check experimentally how far I can go.  I want to try of the game can handle it, if every residential lot is filled. I guess this would also end up with about 750 sims or even more. (No homeless sims)

I have 175 sims in my households. That's probably the highest I have ever had. I haven't noticed any problems.

About 20 of them belong to my legacy families and I mainly play them.

The rest are premades and other sims that I want to keep around. I play them sometimes if I feel like it.

I never had any serious problems or bugs in my game. Played the massive old save on a low end computer for about 8 years (some lag, but I got used to it), and with a trillion tons of CC. Now on better computer it naurally runs way better.

90 Sims 15 Houses- Flint 5 Houses 31 Sims, Villareal 3 Houses 20 Sims, Bjergsen 3 Houses 12 Sims ,Munch 4 Houses 22 Sims and Landgraab 1 House 5 Sims. The house totals 16 but one house Villareal/Bjergsen share together.

I have my Sims 4 on two platforms. My PC is older, so it just has the base game, and a couple stuff packs that became free for a short time, as well as some mods/cc stuff. Another platform is on the PS4, which I own almost everything on, but missing most new packs, and almost all the kits. 

For my PC Sims 4, I have a lot of save files, with one family or more for each file. Some files just have a single family, and eventually their descendants. While others may have one big family, and smaller families mixed in. My biggest family on my PC version is up to about 20 played Sims. My smallest single family is made up of 4 Sims. The other save files are usually between 5-18 Sims so far. 

My PS4 is a different animal. I have a lot of save files, and each save file starts at the minimum of 20 to over 100. Most of them are slightly themed, and I have fun creating different versions of the same Sims, and moving them all into the same world as well. Most are still in 1st to 2nd generations, and starting to pair them up for the 3rd generation. Planning to reduce the population, since I have so many Sims. I plan to get Sims 4: For Rent to help with the population. My plans for the 3rd generation is to marry the families together, move some of the spares to the supernatural side, and turn aging back on to age my Sims. Or just keep aging up, and grow up my 1st generation sims. 

Updated to 234 with the birth of Hannah and Elliott's twins. 😄 Played households now total 12 sims.

My, sims count on my laptop is about 6 of them in a family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒 👪  for now.

I forgot to mention my other save.  I have close to thirty Sims in that one, so far. Not all the kids are born.
