- moxiegraphix6 years agoRising NoviceI usually have somewhere between 5 and 8. I love having a variety of restaurants from really casual to really fancy. LOL I have a problem.

Magnolia Promenade (Diner)
Windenburg (Bistro)
San Myshuno (Italian)
Brindleton Bay (Fancy Seafood and a Burger Joint)
I might also add one to Valley Del Sol soon. - keekee536 years agoSeasoned NewcomerI have two per world. If we had more lot space, I would have more. I like my Sims to stick to the world they live in unless they are heading to the city with friends or some other excuse to be in a different town,
- SimTresa6 years agoNew TravelerIn the main save? 4 - fancy Mexitalian, a diner, seafood grill, and experimental.
- simsimsere6 years agoRising AdventurerI just addded one in Del Sol Valley so that makes it 9. Restaurants are my favourite comnunity lots
- Restaurants are some of my favourite lots to plop down because my sims go to them a lot to hang out.
My restaurants differ per save, but I like having a dessert restaurant (especially for pies), casual diner (pizzas, burgers etc), hipster restaurant (lots of vegetarian things) and a very fancy restaurant. - I forgot about the ones that are currently under construction
One Sim owns a Chain of Restaurants throughout the worlds,
The Golden Boar - My 4, almost 5 star restaurant, and HQ.
The Golden Whale - (Debating on Brindleton Bay or Windenburg)
The Golden Bear - (Debating on Oasis Springs or Windenburg)
The Golden Bull - Magnolia Promenade, Willow Creek
The Celtic Tavern/The Traverse Café.
6pm-1am, Tavern.
4am-3pm, Café.
The House of Jazz - Copy of the House of Blues.
6 restaurants. - I have 7 total restaurants in my game.
Like you, @aaronrulz, I like to have choices and variety but I do also feel like 7 is maybe overkill so what I do is make all the restaurants be dual-purpose lots. They have the 'restaurant' lot type, but I put other activities on the lot as well. One of my restaurants has a dance club on the second floor, another has a public pool behind it (and non-active sims actually DO use it), another has a lounge in one wing, complete with piano, microphone, guitar, etc., and yet another has a children's area on the 2nd floor, with all kind of activities for children and toddlers.
Basically, I like restaurants a lot...so I have a ton of them. By adding other activities to the lot I just make it so I don't have to have as many of some of the other lot types. As we get more neighborhoods, I'll be adding more...restaurants are literally the ONLY lot type that I make sure I have at least 1 of in every neighborhood and some hoods get 2. - EmmaVane6 years agoSeasoned VeteranCurrently only 1 - Deadwater Bistro (seafood + veggie/vamp options) on Deadwater Isle. It's a great place for a restaurant because lighthouse woohoo on dates ;)
- I have at least 1 in each world. And I try to give them variety with the menu.
