How many restaurants

I have many save games so I try to have at least 1 for each. I prefer to have 4 or more though for variety.

I usually have about 4-5 restaurants in most save files. Seafood, Italian, Mexican, Diner and Ice Cream Bar are usually the restaurants in most save files.

Like, 8 pretty much

I think I have 10 or more. Let me do some math here LOL.

At least 7 in newcrest (newcrest is a business district), A retro burger joint in magnolia promenade, a seafood diner in Windenburg, an ethnic restauraunt that serves all ethnic foods in San Myshuno, another seafood in brindleton bay.

11 so far, planning to possibly add more.

5 I think... seafood, Italian, McSims, pub restaurant, posh restaurant.

Oh, I just remembered the Skye Diner in San Myshuno too... so, that's 6.

I really enjoy restaurant lots for my gameplay. I have fancy dining for more romantic evenings, chic places for groups of friends to gossip over lunch, casual family friendly places, a couple of diners for greasy food, snobby experimental eateries if my sim is trying to impress their boss or conduct business, ect. It’s nice to have options for different scenarios so my sims aren't always hanging out at the same places. I think I have around 9 total.

I have 5. Two fancy and 3 that are more casual. But, I do need to go into all of them and reset the menu, because 2 are fish places, the other fancy is experimental. One of the casuals serves breakfasts, but also foods for lunch/dinner. I may need an Italian restaurant …

i'm not very tech savvy, but i'm learning! i would love to have a diner or two, how would i go about getting them for my worlds?

Interesting how some of you have so many, was a bit of a surprise to hear, but cool! I like the idea of mixing the use of the lots so it's not just diner functionality as someone mentioned. I think I have three, one in Oasis springs which has much greenery and has two levels, and on the second level it has "bridges" which leads to different sections you can sit (it's outdoors). It's a bit difficult to describe it. I like it the most and it's available in the gallery if anyone is interested in seeing it.
I also made a fast-food diner in magnolia promenade which is a mix of a restaurant and pub (next to each other). :)
