How often do you play with PlantSims?

Never heard of them, so never.

I played one once on accident (I was trying to cheat a vampire from attacking me and misclicked on makeintoaplatsim). I was playing in San Myshuno at the time and found it really annoying to manage their needs. I doubt I'd play them again as they are now.

I love plantsims but TS4 did them dirty. I wish they made them permanent lifestate. I don't play with them bcs making them eat that fruit every 5 days to keep them as plantsims is too much of a bother for me.

After trying one in TS4, I decided should I want to play them, I'll play them in TS2 - I think that was the best version of them.
They are low on the list of Occults for me.

I can recall only three times I played with them in all my simming:

A nature enthusiast family in Sims 2 had two sims turned into plantsims, but I didn't continue the tradition, because they felt too cheaty.

Then a plantsim-only asylum challenge, also in Sims 2, which was really interesting, because on free will plantsims can screw themselves over as much as human sims, only in different ways.

And one of my Rooftop farm workers in Sims 4 ate the forbidden fruit once, but only for completitions sake.

Idk, I like the concept, but the gameplay never appealed to me. Perhaps they would be more fun if their alien-ness was better developed, like being able to root and uproot themselves similarly to Patchy.

I tested it and forgot about it but I like the idea of a plantsim spellcaster. Might have to do that.

I don't even know how to get them in TS4. I Wish they were a full occult like in TS2. :(

The Sims 4 PlantSims are garbage, I never even bothered with them. But PlantSims in the past were among my favorite occults, so I'd hope for an update that makes them good.

Considering you have to cheat to even get them since they were only for like an event.

And they're more forgettable in this installment than any other. Always found plant sims to be one of the most boring and uninteresting occults and I definitely don't like fake plant sims either. I tend to forget they're a thing in this game.

Only played them via the event and they were sadly just not that interesting.
